Great picture Diana. I Thought that Dixie Valley was closed off.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting out there: there are radar sites, a huge geothermal plant, fake buildings for top gun to practice with, and some of the old ranches that have been deserted. Most of the houses were burned down when the Navy took over. It is like a huge ghost town spread out over 50 plus miles. You cannot go into the radar sites: They are fenced off. A very desolate area.
